Mahendra Mahila College, Gopalganj is a constituent unit of J. P. University, Chhapra, Bihar. It is the first women’s college of Gopalganj district in Bihar. Established in 1978, the college has a glorious history in the field of women education. Its founding mentors were eminent dignitaries of that time. Since its inception, Mahendra Mahila College has pioneered the discipline of arts and has promoted leadership and community service at the college level. In order to fulfill the vision of “All round development of students,” the college has taken several socio-educational initiatives to cater to the societal needs of the region. It is imperative, therefore, to be both creative and innovative in our approach to lead the college towards an epic Centre of higher education in a more economically and socially backward region of the Bihar.The college has a very qualified and experienced faculty equipped with library and laboratory facilities along with other supporting facilities.It is a prestigious institution of northern Bihar that is catering to the aspiration of students coming from rural and urban areas of Gopalganj district.
